Amazon
announced another layoff, this time letting go 16K employees including some of the
most tenured employees in the company. Even
Engineering leads on AI were not spared, leading to speculation as to how exactly Amazon were
making the decisions on who to let go. Whatever the reason, the psychological impact on those who are let go, and those who are retained,
can be profound, none of which helped by a
