I talk a lot about candidate fraud (check out our latest scheduled Brainfood Live on this topic, where we talk D&I angle on ID verification and fraud prevention - register
here), but perhaps
not enough on fraud perpetrated
on job candidates. We recruiters are fans of ‘skills based hiring’ - testing candidates on the skills proximate to their job roles; we probably didn’t anticipate that this could be an angle for fraudsters to acquire some top quality skilled labour for free.
Interesting case, though please note candidate allegations are not proven as a fraud, and may in fact simply be the business model of the business. H/T to brainfooder
Jacob Sten Madsen for the share in the
online community.
