Amazon’s plans to replace more than half a million workers with robots was
leaked, triggering a wave of anxiety and condemnation, and yet it is the embedded imperative of profit making companies under a capitalist politico-economic system which makes such plans inevitable. It’s clear we need to iterate on that politico-economic system but until we figure out how to even start talking about it, we might as well have some
macabre comedy to amuse us in the meantime.
