World Economic Forum with its inaugural CPO outlook report - it’s kind of disappointing tbh, sparse and high level, with limited sample size (130 CPO’s). Still, it is a good thing that WEF has identified the risk / opportunity for the people function - we are uniquely placed to play either hero or villain (maybe both?) as technology innovation reshapes organisations. One thing rings true though - People Ops needs to move closer to Technology in order to translate aspiration into implementation.
