The problem with ‘data driven decision making’ is at the end of the day it is not decision making at all, but simply the output of an equation. This is one of those posts where I’ve no idea whether this is true but idea is so plausible that we need to talk about it anyway - do you use AI to analyse who gets promoted? At what point does analysis segue into decision? Have you ever gone against the AI recommendation…and under what basis (other than bias…) did you do so? Many things to think about in this in stimulating post.
