Last week, we talked about how Mark Zuckerberg was writing personal recruitment messages to elite AI talent; this week, we saw a slew of announcements from the people who said ‘yes’ to job offers in Meta for reported up to $100 million pa salary. War for Talent is today a denigrated term but it accurately describes what is happening at the frontier of AI, the paradox being that the search for Artificial Super Intelligence is still dependent on acquiring elite Human Super Intelligence.
