Matt Charney, whose uptick in posting frequency is as important as it is entertaining. Here he is giving 'Skills Based Hiring’ both barrels, in a well argued critique which centres of the challenge of definition, the lack of dynamism in skills analysis and the general misapplication of such analysis to how organisations
really work. It’s a great set up for future argument, because
technology might actually solve 2 of these 3 problems, at least for those skills which are locked in the Microsoft360 universe. More on to come, but this post is one of those which advance the community discourse, so
