court case victory for LinkedIn may be bad news in the long run for us recruiters, as many of us use tools which can help us access publicly available data in an automated way. The ruling is specific to LinkedIn - hiQ Labs lost on grounds of breaching platform TOS - but it feels like another brick in the road toward a future where data scraping anywhere becomes
verboten.
