Fascinating twitter thread of a piece of research which tried to measure how good programmers were by tracking their eye movements and monitoring their brainwaves. The finding that experience (years of) did not correlate to programming efficacy is only one of the thing we have to think about here, including should we actually wire people up when assessing them?
