Gender Pay Gaps For Women in the Gig Economy

Women working in the gig economy are being paid far less than men, according to a study of freelance workers in the US from WEF. Interestingly, this is based on the rates freelancers themselves set on platforms like Upwork. Why does this happen? Worth a read and a ponder here.
