If signed into law, it will require providers of automated employment decision tools to have those systems evaluated each year by an audit service and provide the results to companies using those systems.
Remember when every HR tech vendor put ‘AI’ into their marketing lit? Pretty much every vendor will be doing the opposite now, as the legislative environment pivots on the axis of bias reduction rather than recruiting efficiency.
