Big tech in the news this past week, with what appears to be unprecedented coordinated action against far right - Twitter following Zuckerberg in permanently banning US President Donald Trump from Twitter, Google removing the Mercer backed Parler from Google store, Apple threatening to do the same , even Shopify de-listing Trump store from its e-commerce platform. The relationship between big tech vs big government is one to watch, a facet of a wider tension in society which also finds expression within those tech companies.
