The story of Jessy Taylor losing her 130,000 follower Instagram account is an important one for all of us building personal / employer brand. So many things happening here - the weirdly cruel schaudenfreude at the prospect this young person losing her source of income, a nostalgic defence of the 9-to-5 as more worthy work, and dismissal of the value of attention economy in comparison. Great to see my old buddy Alex Deve in charge of this product. Facebook Groups get paid subscription option - I suspect many of the best / most active / valuable groups will go this way, especially if admin is also a creator. Somebody reading this is going to do something great with this….
