Excellent interview with Mark Zuckerberg on the future direction of what may be the most unfairly maligned tech company on the planet. It’s going to be the “metaverse,” folks - a future that imagines an internet that combines physical, augmented, and virtual realities. FB will not be the only business building toward this future, so expect this to be a booming sector(s) for hiring. Listen or read, transcription is excellent.
Issue #250 published 25 Jul 2021
The use of AI in hiring is probably at the ‘trough of disillusionment’ right now, so this podcast which interviews the CEO’s of leading AI recruiting technology companies is timely. More on the ‘creator economy’. Not a fad folks, very clear that there is a percentage of the population who are going to make their way this way. Social networking took a while but finally its powers of distribution are creating opportunity, especially those who create opportunity for others. Have a listen folks (transcript is ok too), more than a few of us might well be on this road.

Internet is about going to get worse folks - and highly relevant to use in recruitment and recruitment advertising. Easy listening from the Beeb here
